Law and order govt's top priority: Shahbaz

LAHORE-Punjab Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that maintenance of law and order as well as protection of life and property of citizens is the top priority of his government and no stone would be left unturned to achieve this goal.

Presiding over a high level meeting, here on Friday, in which law and order situation in the province was reviewed in detail, the CM said that a comprehensive security plan was being implemented for safeguarding the life and property of the people and concerned departments have been put on high alert.

Shahbaz directed the concerned officers that a comprehensive planning should be made to effectively counter any emergent situation. He also issued instructions for making improvement in fire-fighting system by using modern equipment of best quality for extinguishing fire besides imparting training to the staff.
