Law and order govt's top priority: Shahbaz

The CM directed that concerned authorities should evolve a system for checking the fire-fighting equipment on regular basis. He said that installation of close circuit cameras and posting of security guards at business and commercial centres should be ensured.

The meeting was told that nocturnal CCTV Cameras are being installed at entry and exit points of Lahore, upon which Chief Minister said that such cameras should also be installed in big cities of the province like Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan, Rawalpindi and Bahawalpur and registration of vehicles, their transfers and other related matters should be improved.

He said that the current courses of Elite Force Training School should be harmonized with modern demands and complete scrutiny of the officials selected for training should be carried out.

IG Police Punjab informed that special security arrangements have been made at airports, railway stations, mosques, Imam Bargahs and other sensitive places and additional force has been deputed at these places.

Walk-through gates and close circuit cameras have been installed. He told that police patrolling has been increased and checking system has been improved.
