Roti at Rs 4-5 as flour price increases
Source: Our Staff Reporter October 4, 2008 LAHORE - The Nan bais in various parts of the City are selling roti at Rs 4 to Rs 5 as the government has increased the flour price from Rs 300 to Rs 420 per 20-kg bag, market sources said on Saturday.
Market sources said that most of the tandoors stopped selling roti in the City due to the severe shortage of flour.
The tandoor owners said that they could not afford selling roti at Rs 2 after buying 20-kg flour bag at Rs 450 from the market.
