Hoti asks officials for speedy relief efforts

He said after the completion of assessment process, the affected people would be provided with monetary assistance within three days. He assured that no effort would be spared in providing relief to the affected people.

Chief minister said that encroachments were also contributing to the blockade of floodwaters and urged the people to avoid establishing encroachments in their areas.

He said that a committee had been formed which would present its recommendations in this regard.

Members of Provincial Assembly Sanaullah Miankhel, Israrullah Gandapur and Khalifa Abdul Qayyum were among the delegation led by NA deputy speaker Faisal Karim Kundi.

The delegtion from Buner informed the Chief Minister about the need of constructing a bridge over the natural stream in Bigra area of Dagar tehsil, saying in rainy weather, about three thousands population of the area remained cut off from other areas. On this, the Chief Minister directed the authorities concerned to estimate the cost of the bridge and take measures in this regard.

Arbab Najeebullah apprised the Chief Minister about the devastation caused by flash floods and the relief activities in detail. MPA Alamgir was also present on the occasion.
