PPP leaders pay rich tributes to ZA Bhutto

“Today, Pakistan is being surviving just because of BB, who bore her farther’s death, and Asif Ali Zardari, who showed patience on BB’s assassination, chanted slogan of “Pakistan Khappe” (Pakistan is indispensable), he observed.

Bhutto family’s sacrifices, struggle and martyrdom would be remembered in the history and till the world existed, he maintained.

Munir Ahmed Khan said that Bhutto is not the name of one person, but of every person who has admiration for Bhuttos. He said that it was just because of ZAB and BB’s political sagacity and sacrifices that ensured democracy in Pakistan today.

Malik Mushtaq Awan said that PPP is committed to the egalitarian vision of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed and would relentlessly work to restore the dignity of the common man by providing basic necessities of life to the people.

Pakistan People’s Party is the name of an idealogy, mission and of the movement launched by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, who realized the people’s power and strived for it, while his daughter Benazir Bhutto took his mission forward and even laid down her life for this sacred cause, he added.

Azizur Rehman Chan observed that PPP would continue to work under its manifesto on the basis of which it received public mandate in the general election.

Recalling the political wisdom of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed, he said the PPP would continue to fight against extremism, ignorance and poverty to ensure real democracy, he mentioned.

PPP’s women leaders including MPA Sajida Mir also expressed their views on this occasion.
