PA for raising US raid issue at UN
Source: OUR STAFF REPORTER September 6, 2008 LAHORE- The Punjab Assembly on Friday unanimously passed two separate resolutions condemning allied forces' ground attack inside Pakistan and burying alive of five women in Balochistan.
The resolution regarding US soldiers' attack at Angoor Adda was moved by Punjab Minister for Law Rana Sana Ullah Khan, which strongly condemned the ground attack by allied forces on a tribal area of Pakistan, and termed the act a 'heinous crime' and a 'direct attack' on the sovereignty of Pakistan.
While expressing solidarity and sympathies with heirs of innocent people, who lost their lives in the attack, the House recommended the Federal Government to raise this issue at the United Nations forum and urged for issuance of strict warning to the US, besides asking it that Pakistan will be compelled to review its policy of cooperation in the war against terrorism, if the situation did not improve.
