Light rain makes weather pleasant

LAHORE - Light rain, overcast conditions and continuously blowing winds caused considerable decrease in the mercury level on Saturday, making the City weather pleasant. The experts have forecast partly cloudy weather for the City during the next 24 hours.
On Saturday, maximum and minimum temperature in the City was recorded 21.5 degree Celsius and 13.7 C respectively. Relative humidity in the morning was recorded 75 percent, which decreased to 64 percent in the evening.
According to the experts, prevailing westerly wave has further moved north eastwards.
Local meteorological department has forecast rains at isolated places of Upper NWFP, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and Rawalpindi divisions.
On Saturday, DG Khan received 26 mm rain, Multan 14 mm, Mangla and Jhang 05 mm each, Faisalabad, Parachinar and Mandi Bahauddin 04 mm each, Jhelum, DI Khan, TT Singh, Sahiwal and Bhakkar 03 mm each, Rawlakot, Kohat and Islamabad 02 mm each, Kakul, Okara and Mianwali 01 mm each while Sialkot, Peshawar and Kotli received traces of rain.
