Security put on high alert in City
Source: OUR STAFF REPORTER October 6, 2008 LAHORE - After suicide attack in Bhakkar, the city police Monday reviewed security arrangements and put the law enforcement agencies on high alert.
The city police were especially directed to intensify security for the protection of politicians, VIP and VVIPs. Security of some prominent political figures has been increased by deploying more trained and watchful police officials.
They were assigned task with new guidelines to provide security cover to the important personalities during their visit to the official and private functions, ceremonies and public gatherings.
