After holding their general house meeting, the lawyer took to the GPO Chowk to hold the rally, where the activists of PML-N, Tehrik-e-Insaf, Pakhtoonkhawa Milli Awami Party, Jamat-e-Islami, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Tehrik-e-Khaksar and Labour Party also joined them.

Activists of all these parties were marching with the lawyers holding their party flags.

Ahead of the rally there was a group of Tehrik-e-Insaf activists and next to them were Pakhtoonkhawa Milli Awami Party activists with a gap of few feet. PML-N activists were behind PMAP activists.

Much active than all protesters, were PML-N activists who were accompanied by two of their leaders - MPA Mohsin Latif and MNA Mian Marghoob Ahmed.

Every group was protesting in its own way to make its presence felt before the cameras. However all the protesters were chanting pro-sacked judges and anti-Musharraf slogans.

Reaching at the Faisal Chowk protesters expressed their aggression against the delay in reinstatement of judges. Remaining for about 20 minutes there, they dispersed peacefully.

Earlier, a joint session of the Lahore high Court, SCBA, Lahore Bar Association and Lahore Tax Bar Association asked present government to restore all deposed judges before August 14 to avoid further instability in the country.
