PIA starts inquiry into Jeddah-Lahore flight delay

LAHORE - The PIA management has started inquiry into an extraordinary delay in the departure of Jeddah-Lahore flight Pk-7644, sources in the airline disclosed on Wednesday. The flight was delayed due to the blunder of the PIA staff stationed at Jeddha who issued about 12 duplicate boarding cards.

The management earlier immediately grounded cabin crew staff of the flight concerned holding it responsible for the delay but on their protest the decision was taken back and crew staff was restored on duty and fresh inquiry initiated into the matter to fix responsibility.
