LAHORE - Exhibition of calligraphy on paper and wood carving ‘Treasures of Islamic art’ by Ruheena Malik opened at the Alhamra Art Gallery on Wednesday.
Punjab Governor Salman Taseer inaugurated the exhibition while Political Officer US Consulate in Lahore Bryan D Hunt was the guest of honour.
Karachi-based Ruheena Malik is a self-taught artist and she has done all calligraphy on antique wood that she says she has collected them from all over Sindh. “All the artworks on display are real antiques acquired from different places.
