Police indifferent to octogenarian's agony
Source: OUR STAFF REPORTER October 9, 2008 LAHORE - The indifference of police towards agony of people due to rise of street crime has taken new heights. The police do not even bother to register crime committed against senior citizens.
In clear violation of instructions of police high ups to immediately register a case the SHO Sanda police station Javed Virk has not registered a daylight armed robbery case despite the lapse of six days. The victim an octogenarian woman still awaits police action.
The SHO despite frequent visits of the complainant continues to linger the matter.
