Police indifferent to octogenarian's agony

Two unknown armed robbers had looted an 80-year-old woman Haleema Bibi, in broad daylight on October 04 (Saturday) in the area of Sadaqat Park Sanda. They deprived her of gold ornaments worth Rs.40,000. SI Asharf had visited the crime scene and gathered evidence. Imran Sadiq, the robbery victim’s son talking to The Nation said that his mother was aged and could not go to police station. “I have visited the police station many times but in vain, as the case could not be registered,” he said.
