LAHORE - Justice Maulvi Anwarul Haq of the Lahore High Court Friday sought report and comments from Punjab government within three weeks on the petition of Pakistan Flour Mills Association challenging the supply of wheat quota to flour mills on district basis system.

The Association through its counsel has pleaded that Punjab government is providing different quantity of wheat to each district without taking into consideration the fact that different flourmills have different production capacities. The counsel pointed out that at the time of establishment of flourmill different government departments ascertained the production capacity of the mill.
