Car snatchers killed in Lahore police encounter
September 11, 2008 Two car snatchers were killed during police counter in Lahore. According to police sources two dacoits snatched a car from a person named Sadaat in Garhi Shahu area. The car had been traced due to tracking system followed by police chase. The dacoits opened fire at police near Jinnah Bridge in Gulburg area. Both of the were killed during retaliatory fire by police. Some witnesses said that both the dacoits were shot dead within the car instead of exchange of fire.
