Bomb hoax sparks scare at GCU
By Rana Latif October 11, 2008 LAHORE - A bomb hoax created panic in Government College University Saturday around 2:30 pm.
An unidentified phone caller from the nearby Urdu Bazaar market informed the security personnel posted at the main campus that a bomb would soon go off. The police was informed which rushed to the spot followed by the bomb disposal unit and got the entire premises vacated. The classes in progress were immediately suspended for the search operation but nothing could be found after an extensive search.
