Marriage hall owners torture man to death

While the assailants Aslam and Nasir denied the allegations and told the police the incident took place when the victim damaged lights installed at the marriage hall. On asking the reason, Arshad attacked them.

The police however, arrested both the alleged killers and registered a case against them on the complaint of victim’s family.  The body was shifted to the city morgue for autopsy.

ACCIDENT

Two motorcyclists were killed by a rashly driven tractor trollies in separate road incidents in the city on Saturday.

In the first incident, Muhammad Nazir, 60, was going on a motorcycle to meet his relatives in the area of Kotlakhpat police.

A rashly driven tractor trolley hit the bike. Nazir sustained critical head injuries and was immediately rushed to the Lahore General Hospital where he expired. The driver of the tractor trolley however, managed to escape from the spot along with his vehicle.
