Doctors protest against health reforms policy

Giving further details, he said that the hospital has no proper sitting place for the doctors and also lacks waiting area for the patients and their attendants. The broken roads are causing huge troubles to the patients especially when the patients are transported from one place to the other on the roads situated in the premises of the hospital.

He said the management of the hospital was not paying proper attention towards the release of salaries and arrears of the doctors and it has become almost impossible for them to continue their jobs in such condition.

The Young Doctors Association has appealed to the chief minister Punjab to immediately intervene and take serious notice of the hospital matters.

The Mayo Hospital MS and other management also reached at the spot and assured the protestors that their grievances and demands will be fulfilled without any further delay.
