LHC seeks reply from FO

Later, President Pakistani Community Unity Greece Aslam Arain filed a petition in the Superior Court of Athens seeking recovery of missing Pakistanis. The SC took serious notice of the matter and got the missing Pakistani peoples recovered from the custody of different foreign agencies and two ministers of Greece government had to resign from their offices. Feeling frustrated, Greece government pressurised Pakistani ambassador in Athens to take action against the representatives of Pakistani Community Unity and also offered bribe to change its stance, the petitioner said.

The petitioner-lawyer further stated that during the pendency of that petition in SC of Athens it was disclosed that there was an embezzlement by Pakistan embassy in the funds of Oct-8 earthquake victims in Pakistan.

He contented that the Pakistani community living in Greece asked the then Pakistani ambassador in Athens Rashid Saleem to probe into the matter but he asked them to shut their mouth and forced to withdraw the cases against Greek government.
