Iran not to bow before USA

LAHORE - Iran will never bow before USA and will never stop its nuclear programme. Iran's nuclear programme, which is totally indigenous and progressed without any outside help cover or overt.

Adviser to supreme leader of Iran Ayatullah Khamenai and Director General Mjmah Al-Tarkeeb Bainul Mazahib Islami, Ayatullah Muhammad Ali Taskhiri, stated this while talking to The Nation on Tuesday at the Environmental Law Centre, Punjab University. He termed all allegations against scientist Dr AQ Khan and other scientists in this respect as baseless.

Earlier he addressed a seminar on 'Alam-e-Islam kay ittehad kay rastay mein mushkalat or imkanaat' (problems in the way of forging unity of Muslim Ummah) at the centre.

"Iran's nuclear programme will never be stopped as development of the people of Iran depends on it. We are bound by NPT and it is a peaceful programme. Anti-Islam forces have nuclear programmes that are outside the NPT. The USA will never be successful in stopping the nuclear programme," Taskhiri maintained.

He said USA policies in the world have failed. "USA wants to create a new map of Middle East but it will miserably fail. It is facing one defeat after another but is not learning from its mistakes. USA's policies have failed in Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine. It is high time it reviewed its policies," he was of the view.
