Channels promoting Indian culture should be banned: Nizami

LAHORE - Chairman Nazria Pakistan Trust and Editor-in-Chief The Nation Majid Nizami has said that the government should ban TV channels engaged in the promotion of Indian culture, which is contagious for our children.
He was addressing the 7th ideological training workshop of teachers organised by Nazria Pakistan Trust in collaboration with Tehrik-e-Pakistan Workers Trust and Punjab Education department here at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan on Saturday.
Majid Nizami said that we have separated ourselves from Hindus but Hindus culture is being inculcated into our new generation through electronic media. The teachers should make children good Muslims, good Pakistanis and good jihadis, he asserted. He said NPT was organising teachers’ workshops because it was already imparting ideological training to children. Nizami said the Quaid created the country despite of his old age and sickness but we could not make Pakistan even after 62 years as envisioned by the Quaid and Allama Iqbal.
He said jihad is ordained by Allah and we should struggle through pen, speech and if needed through sword. He said Hafiz Saeed is doing jihad in Kashmir. As such America and India are thirsty of his blood and that is the reason India is demanding Hafiz Saeed from us. India is perturbed from Jihad-e-Kashmir. He declared that Kashmir is unfinished agenda of Pakistan and Quaid-e-Azam declared Kashmir as jugular vein of Pakistan. Kashmiris celebrated Pakistan Independence Day with enthusiasm but we did not for Kashmiris, he lamented. Though the Prime Minister mentioned Kashmir in his yesterday’s speech but President says Pakistan has no threat from India, he wondered. If we don’t have threat from India then who else is threat for us, he questioned? He said, we should beware of India adding, it will not give us Kashmir without use of force. India is though bigger than us but it is devoid of spirit of jihad and we want jihad for Kashmir.
