Shahbaz regrets poor state of govt hospitals

LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that government hospitals are extremely in poor state throughout the province because of lack of commitment and dereliction of duty on the part of the persons concerned.
He expressed these views while giving away prizes to senior and junior doctors, nurses and staff for their outstanding performance at Ittefaq Hospital here on Saturday.
The CM said that as the chief servant he considered it his responsibility to provide basic facilities to eight crore people of the province and all available resources were being utilised for this purpose.
He said that the way a dictator destroyed all democratic institutions and trampled law during the last eight years had ruined the whole system.
