Shahbaz regrets poor state of govt hospitals

He said due to inept policies of previous government, health and education sectors had suffered a serious setback while the law and order situation was also unsatisfactory due to which the life of the common man was miserable. He said that during his visit to a rural health centre in district Rahim Yar Khan he was shocked to see that no medical facilities were available to the patients while medical equipment worth crores of rupees had never been used.

Shahbaz said that condition of this health centre reflected the overall situation of other 299 health centres in the province. He said that neither medical nor education facilities were available to the common man while elite class, government officers and political leaders were spending huge government resources on treatment abroad.

He said that there was need to eliminate disparity and dual policy and ensure modern health facilities to the citizens at their doorstep.
