'Teach Excel' workshop concludes at LUMS

LAHORE - Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCCA) Pakistan organised two-day ‘Teach Excel’ workshop at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), which concluded on Thursday.

The workshop was the part of ACCA’s efforts to develop excellence in professional accounting education and establish best practices amongst tertiary accounting education providers. Punjab Minister for Population Welfare Neelam Jabbar who was the chief guest on the closing ceremony of the workshop distributed certificates among the participants.

William Parrott of KAPLAN Financial who is an experienced ACCA tutor was main tutor, besides Alan Hatfield and Jonathan Mbewe.

The workshop participants included faculty members of ACCA Approved Learning Partners in Pakistan. The participants appreciated ACCA’s initiative efforts in enhancing the capacity of professional accounting education faculty members. They opined that the workshop was useful and relevant to their work as it enabled them to learn new teaching skills, adding that the workshop had energised them and they were motivated to improve their performance.
