Lawyers say movement enters decisive phase
Source: OUR STAFF REPORTER June 18, 2008 He said the long march of the lawyers starting from Karachi on June 9 last attracted lakhs of Pakistanis who joined it and gathered in Islamabad on June 13. The public demonstration at this scale, he said, was not only a vindication of the public mandate given in elections on February 18 but also the masses aspiration to hold Pervez Musharraf accountable for his misdeeds in rule. He said if the rulers did not accept the public demands, their movement would continue with more force and vigour in future.
He said the persons who were counting thin presence at the long march, are in fact deluded ones and the legal fraternity condemns them.
