Judges restoration within 3 days: Aitzaz

After Islamabad Declaration, he said, there was no question of minus-one or minus-two formula therefore all judges must be restored in line with the Murree Declaration.  Aitzaz also congratulated the legal fraternity over the removal of Musharraf and success of their struggle and announced to observe August 19 (today) as ‘Thanksgiving Day’. He said the coalition of four parties has achieved greatly by forcing Musharraf out of power.

Aitzaz further said that Musharraf should have quit on July 20, 2007 when the Supreme Court had restored Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary as Chief Justice of Pakistan. To a question about the future President of the country, he said it should a PPP man from a smaller province.
