No more dance in stage dramas: LHC

LAHORE â€" The Lahore High Court Tuesday imposed a complete ban on dance performances in stage dramas and their telecast on cable networks throughout Punjab while dismissing a petition challenging strict code of conduct issued by the Punjab government.

Justice Kurshid Anwar Bhinder in its short order ruled that violation of the order would be contempt of court and district coordination officers and district police officers would be held responsible for it. The detailed judgement with reasons would be released later.
