CCPO directs action against firework
Capital City Police Officer Muhammad Pervez Rathore has directed the police officers to take stern action against the persons involved in selling or producing fireworks in order to avert any untoward incident on the eve of Shab-e-Barat.
In a circular addressed to the SSP Operations, all divisional SPs, SPOs and SHOs, the capital city police officer directed them to constitute special teams in their respective areas and also conduct raids against the persons involved in firework business.
He directed to trace godowns of fire works and forfeit all the material. Likewise, he directed all the officers to take action against persons involved in aerial firing on the occasion of different ceremonies. He warned that in case of violation, action would be taken against the concerned SHO, while explanation would be sought from respective SPO. He said that all the divisional SPs would be responsible to implement these directions in letter and spirit.
