Hunt for better English communication skills

It is to be noted that first access programme in Pakistan was started in 2004 with the two years grant of $ 150,000 to the Lahore based NGO, Cooperation for Advancement, Rehabilitation and Education (CARE) Foundation. Bryan Hunt gave certificates to 600 graduates of the English Access Micro-scholarship programme-Hibba-tun-Nasir, Aqsa Ashraf Awan, Rabia Abid.

PU VC appoints dy registrar, treasurer

Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has approved the recommendations of the Special Selection Committee made in its meeting held here the other day and appointed Deputy Registrars/Deputy Treasurer. A notification has been issued in this regard.

Under the notification, Deputy Registrar Muhammad Iqbal Mirza has been appointed as Deputy Registrar (Admin-I), Deputy Registrar Ch Muhammad Siddiq as Deputy Registrar (Admin-II), Deputy Registrar Rana Abdul Saleem Khan as Deputy Registrar (Acad), Deputy Registrar Muhammad Amir Khan as Deputy Registrar (Admin-I) and Deputy Treasurer Bootay Khan as Deputy Treasurer (Audit).
