Lesco can't disconnect power supply to MTS
Source: Our Staff Reporter October 21, 2008 LAHORE - Granting an interim relief, the Lahore High Court has stopped LESCO from disconnecting electricity supply to Model Town Society as it has received a bill including excessive amount of Rs 73 million.
The court has also issued notice to the LESCO authorities for October 23.
The MTS through its counsel Mian Iftikhar argued the society neither defaulted in its 75-year-old history nor it received such a huge amount of bill.
