Lawyers stand for AQ Khan's release
By SAJID ZIA May 23, 2008 LAHORE - The issues of restoring judiciary to November 2 position and release of Pakistan nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan are jointly going in the lawyers' protest movement which is fast catching attraction of social segments like civil society, NGOs, traders, professionals, workers, ulema, students, politicians, political workers and even of the retired military persons.
The concern, which was showed by media at the continuous detention of Dr AQ Khan, invoked a special affection for Dr AQ Khan in the legal fraternity.
