2 policemen killed, 1 injured in Jahanian encounter
July 24, 2008 Two policemen were killed and one injured during an encounter between dacoits and police in adjoining area of Jahanian. Reports said that an SHO of city police station of Khanewal and two other policemen received injuries during encounter in Chak No 139/10 R. They were shifted to Nishtar Hospital where SHO and a constable succumbed to their injuries.
