People to get 20-kg atta bag for Rs 300

LAHORE - Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that supply of daily use items on affordable rates would be ensured to the general public during Ramazan-ul-Mubarak and 20-kg atta bag would be provided at a subsidised rate of Rs 300. He said that people involved in profiteering and hoarding would not be spared and ample supply of essential items would be ensured during the sacred month of Ramazan and for this purpose Sasta Bazaars have been established throughout the province.

He was presiding over a meeting regarding Food Stamp Scheme and Ramazan Package. Chairmen Task Force SA Hameed and Ch Samiullah, Chief Secretary Punjab, Home Secretary, Addl Chief Secretary, Addl Post Master General and Secretaries of various departments attended the meeting.
