Easing visa restrictions, trade with India unwise: Nizami
Source: OUR STAFF REPORTER May 25, 2008 Speaking at Ist meeting of the Nazria Pakistan Trust's Advisory Council at the Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan on Saturday, he said that this was unfortunate that some people wanted to end the borderline between Pakistan and India. He said, "It is true that Kashmir is our jugular vein because India is building 52 dams on it which could turn Pakistan into a desert after 15/20 years."
Mr Majid Nizami said that Musharraf was not willing to quit though two major political parties as well as others were demanding his resignation.
He said, "Let us make this Pakistan an Islamic democratic and welfare state."
He paid rich tributes to Shaheed Ghulam Haider Wyne for setting up the trust. He said, "We are telling the nation circumstances in which the Pakistan was being created and how they (Muslims and Hindus) are two separate nations."
