PM Gilani is another Shaukat Aziz: Imran

“There is no difference between Musharraf and Asif Zardari. He will render the same services to the US as were done by Pervez Musharraf. In the presence of 17th amendment, all institutions would be under the thumb of Asif Zardari. Yousaf Raza Gilani is second Shaukat Aziz and the Parliament will be dummy in his presence. In the presence of dependent courts of Dogar, all power will rest with Asif Zardari. As President of Pakistan, Asif Zardari will facilitate the US to carry out its agenda through one window operation. How the nation could believe that the person who did not honour written promises would repeal 17th amendment”, Imran Khan said, adding, the country did not need Musharraf-mark-2 at the President House as he could prove more dangerous than the dictator. He urged PML-N to challenge the eligibility of Asif Zardari as candidate for the President. He said that PPP leadership convinced Bush administration that it could serve the US better than Musharraf and Altaf Hussain was the first person who congratulated and assured full support to Asif Zardari.

“Bajaur military operation of Musharraf regime produced 150,000 refugees. PPP government served more and produced 500,000 refugees”, he said.

Imran Khan said that relief to selected people was violation of fundamental rights in any civilised society. He said that the corrupt politicians had not only got money under NRO but also grabbed high offices.

“Asif Zardari and Rehman Malik got removed all filth under NRO. One is adviser on interior while the other is eying on the highest office in the country”, he said, adding, the entire nation should resist this highjacking. He said the country was passing through a defining phase and the nation should come forward to put Pakistan on the right path. He said that unemployment and price-hike has made the lives of people miserable. He said that the country was facing economic crunch and there was pressure on business.
