Awan for early probe into Benazir murder

LAHORE - Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr Babur Awan has impressed upon the Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) to constitute an international tribunal, without any further delay, to investigate the murder of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. Addressing a function held in connection with first death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto at Baghbanpura here Wednesday, the federal minister said that Shaheed BB was an international personality and the UN should investigate her murder.
While paying glowing tributes, in a very emotional way, to the charismatic personality and leadership of late prime minister, he maintained that Benazir Bhutto was an asset for the country who fought for the democracy, people’s rights and blocked the way of dictators.
