Hearing to make Pervez Elahi party in murder case adjourned till Oct 8
September 27, 2008 Special anti-terrorism court in Lahore on Saturday adjourned the hearing till October 8 on petition for making parties to ten people including former chief minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi in a case of two persons’ murder. Petitioner Fayyaz Mehmood Pasha has adopted the instance that a day before the general elections two persons including his son Armaghan Pasha were killed in the firing by a rival group at the PML (N) office in the jurisdiction of Thana Gawalmandi. He said that ten persons including Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, his advisor Haji Hanif and SP Rana Ahmed Hasan were involved in that incident and asked to take a legal action against them. The anti-terrorrism court had sent the case for investigation to district and session judge and the hearing was to be held today on the enquiry report of the district judge. However, the hearing could not take place due to non-presence of the judge of the anti-terrorism court.
