Man shoots wife dead over domestic issue

LAHORE - A man shot dead his wife over a petty domestic issue in Township police limits on Friday.

The victim identified as Kaneez Fatima, a mother of four children and resident of D-Block Township area.

Police said the alleged killer Mushtaq used to quarrel with his wife over minor domestic issue. On the day of incident both again exchanged hot words. Mushtaq got infuriated and took out a licensed pistol and opened fire on Fatmia and escaped from the spot. She was taken to the Jinnah Hospital with multiple bullet injuries where doctors pronounced her dead. The body was shifted to the City morgue for autopsy.

Police registered a case against Mushtaq on the complaint of his son Iftikhar with no arrest so for.
