Haider Ali Mirza said, “we are being planned to remove from the scene after we have spent million of rupee to meet pre-qualification procedure. He said that contractors would not keep silent over the injustice. He said that move would amount to throw the LDA into financial crunch. He said that association would not tolerate the financial murder of the contractors. He said that if the move was not withdrawn, contractors would knock the door of court.

It is pertinent to mention that PUNJAB Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif addressing a high-level meeting held to review roads, flyovers and other development projects in various areas of Lahore said that the Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) would construct all major roads in Lahore and a coordination committee consisting of six members has been constituted for this purpose.

The CM said that work on sewerage, drainage, telephone and natural gas should be completed before construction of all important roads because digging of these roads after construction will not be allowed. He said that delay in completion of development projects will not be tolerated. He said that audit of all development projects completed under the TEPA should be carried out through NESPAK and dues of contractors should be cleared only after getting clearance certificate of work quality.
