Imran opposes Zardari as President

LAHORE - Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Imran Khan has said that Asif Zardari got a green signal from the Bush administration after giving assurance that he would serve the US better than Pervez Musharraf.

He was addressing the oath taking ceremony of newly elected traders association of Mansoora Market on Thursday.

Imran Khan said that the person who looted Rs 100 billion was not required at the President House. He said that Asif Zardari at the President House would prove fatal for the country. He said that it was a pity that the looters were grabbing high offices in the country. He said that the rulers were killing own citizens just to please the US masters. He said that reinstatement of all deposed judges including Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and independence of judiciary would ensure rule of law and stability in the country.
