Worst traffic mess as lawyers protest on roads

LAHORE - City experienced worst traffic mess on Thursday when lawyers took out rallies and also staged protest sit-in in different parts of the City.

Traffic remained blocked for hours causing inconvenience to the motorists as well as the other people including the businessmen due to protests of the lawyers.

Hundreds of vehicles remained struck for a considerable time on the leading roads especially on The Mall, Ferozepur Road, Jail Road, near Cantt courts and on some other small roads.

The traffic wardens were witnessed staying alongside the roads like silent spectators especially on The Mall and adjoining roads when the lawyers staged a sit-in to press their demands.
