Awareness about 2-Nation Theory must for progress

LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif has said that we can make future of Pakistan safe by promoting education and creating awareness about Two-Nation Theory.
Addressing the concluding ceremony of Nazriati Summer School of Nazria Pakistan Trust on Tuesday, Shahbaz said education and training of children was a service to the country, as this training will go a long way in the better future of children as well as to make Pakistan great as envisioned by Dr Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
The CM said importance given to the top position holders, their teachers and parents, cash awards and arrangements of their study tours abroad shows that the government was giving top priority to education. As many as 20 talented students, he said, were sent to Britain and other countries on a study tour while government has also pledged free higher education for them. He promised the children of Nazriati Summer School that the government would send them to Europe and other countries for study tour if they showed good performance in their academic career.
The CM said government has set up Education Endowment Fund worth Rs4 billion and another two billion will be added every year in this fund. And this amount will be spent on poor but talented students.
Shahbaz said his government was setting up computer labs in 4000 schools with investment of billions of rupees. He said Danish school system at par with Aitchison with competent teachers and facilities are being set up for quality education and this project has been initiated from South Punjab. He deplored the double standard in education and separate schools for poor and rich and said he would remove this difference. He paid tributes to Majid Nizami for education and training of children.
Editor-in-Chief The Nation and Chairman, Nazria Pakistan Trust, Majid Nizami while speaking on the occasion urged the students to acquire quality science education and become scientists like Dr A Q Khan and Dr Samar Mubarakmand.
Majid Nizami said that India was our arch enemy. It had sent atomic marine in Indian Ocean, which was a danger for us, as this atomic marine can hit Karachi, Gwadar and other cities of Sindh. And in this way one can imagine the hostility of India.
