Nations having love for books live long: Minister

LAHORE - Provincial Minister for Prisons Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor has said that nations having love for books live long and progress in every field of life.

He expressed these views after inaugurating a three-days Punjab University Book Fair-2008 here at the New Campus corridor on Wednesday. He said it was a matter of pleasure that the PU administration had organised the book fair instead of any student group.

The provincial minister and PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran inaugurated the book fair as Chief Minister Punjab Dost Muhammad Khosa could not come due to personal engagements and Ch Abdul Ghafoor represented the chief minister.
