Firm blacklisted on Chief Minister's orders

LAHORE - On the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Communication & Works Department has immediately blacklisted M/s Echo West International (Pvt) Limited and all its partners under which this firm cannot participate in any future tendering of Punjab and cannot get it registered with any new name with any government or semi-government organization, says a handout issued by the Punjab government.

According to the details, Echo West International (Pvt) Limited was allotted the dualizaton of Lahore-Kasur Road (Section from Kahna to Kasur km 26.65 to 55.00 km on November 30, 2005 and the work was to be completed on May 29, 2006.
