Firm blacklisted on Chief Minister's orders

The work could not be completed in time and on the request of the firm the department agreed to extend the completion period of the project up to September 25, 2008 but substantial work still remains to be completed by the firm whereas Echo West International (Pvt) Limited has already received advance / duplicate payment in execution of subject work.

It may be mentioned that Echo West International (Pvt) Limited while applying to C & W Department in September 2008 for renewal provided an affidavit under the signature of Dr. Irfan Haq, Director stating that neither Echo West International (Pvt) Limited nor any of its directors/partners have ever been blacklisted in any government / semi government organization. The facts are contrary to the extent that NHA through its letter dated December 19, 2006 addressed to Echo West International (Pvt) Limited has blacklisted the firm for bidding /participating in tendering for any NHA’s projects due to poor performance on Hala Moro project.
