150 patients get medicines at free camp

LAHORE- As many as 150 patients were examined and provided with medicines on the first day of 3-day free medical camp established under the auspices of Lahore Gulberg Lions Club and Hijaz Hospital at Lions Hospital Bedian road Ladhar here on Tuesday.
Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), president Zafar Iqbal Chaudhry inaugurated the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated the holding of free medical camp for poor patients and said it was a noble task to serve the ailing humanity.
He called upon the NGOs to hold free medical camps for poor by emulating Lahore Gulberg Lions Club.
As many as 50 patients were provided ultrasound facility, 20 patients of ophthalmology were examined, 20 patients suffering from asthma were provided medicare, 25 patients of cardiology were examined on first day.
President Lions Club Khushnood Ali Sheikh is monitoring the medical camp.
