Cheap Chinese generators monopolise local market

LAHORE - The sale of cheap and low-graded Chinese power generators have monopolised the local market owing to the unannounced load-shedding, which hit the country during hot and humid weather.

The importers and traders, however, are happy with the load-shedding switched on for more than 16 hours by the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA).

Talking to The Nation the power generators traders said that unannounced load-shedding pushed the customers to get the generators at their earliest as these generators are attracting more customers on account of their low prices.
