Shahbaz orders arrest of DSP, culprits

Aamir Sher was the president of Peoples Students Federation, Pakpattan and he and his real brother Alam Sher and mother had come to Chak.5 KB from Pakpattan on the same day.

Later, the Chief Minister went to the house of a 10-year-old female student, who was criminally assaulted. He said perpetrator of this heinous crime deserve no mercy and would be awarded exemplary punishment.

He said the accused had been arrested and every effort would be made for ensuring maximum punishment to him under the law. He said that police officials patronising criminal elements will not be spared and maximum punishment will be awarded to them. He said that Punjab government would bear all expenditure on the education of the unfortunate girl. He also gave Rs 0.5 million as financial assistance to the affected family.

The PPO informed that DSP who showed dereliction of duty regarding the case has been suspended while the concerned investigation officer has been arrested.

Addressing the people on the occasion, the Chief Minister assured that Punjab government would make all efforts for solution of their problems. He said that elimination of injustice and excesses from the society is his mission and all possible measures will be taken for its fulfilment.
