HBL jump to second spot: complete double over PIA

The bank's spearhead Zakir, younger to Shakir, put the match beyond the grasp of airmen with 57th minute goal. He met Ibrahim's long-ball perfectly onto his left leg and swinged the ball into net leaving keeper Bilal stranded.

1982 national champions HBL secured 21 points from 13 games and jumped to second-spot behind table-topper KPT (23 pts) while PIA, that put up brilliant display in domestic soccer from 1971 to 2003 winning national title nine times, collected 13 points from 13 encounters
