Lord's honours Asian Bradman today
By BIPIN DANI September 1, 2008 MUMBAI - For well over a century, the Lord's Tavern has provided cricket-lovers with a haven for celebration or reflection. Former Pakistani batsman Zaheer Abbas will be amongst those who will honoured at Lord's on Monday for hitting 100 first class centuries.
In the history of game, there are more than two dozen cricketers (25 to be precise) who have scored 100 centuries in first class cricket. Even India's little masters Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar don't figure in this list.
